Gifts from the Road

The Bougainvillea is one of my favorite tropical plants. Elegant and strong, it’s a sight when it blooms. This series came to me very organically. As I was taking my daily walk past some bougainvilleas, I felt the need to take a photo, and then another. And this blossomed into an important project. A gift of the road. Note: This was born as a gratitude project. Each photo in the series bears the name of a woman; my companions on the road.
